Hi!

Hey, bodies, thought I'd just share a few words. I'm still plowing through apples from last October. So far, I'm up to about 5 cases of applesauce for 2007-2008, and I've still got about 3/4 of the fridge outside to finish. Applesauce and Relief Society keep me pretty busy most days; don't think I'll have time to do a full garden this year. But I'm really glad we took Nick to Hawaii. He's still getting mileage out of it. He told me recently that ever since November he has been feeling a bit better (which, incidentally, is about the time I told him I thought we could go to Hawaii in February if he wanted to), and that for a little while on two different days since the trip he has enjoyed being alive for a little while. I'm glad that what we did provided a little bit of relief from the constant prospect of feeling useless and worrying about falling apart physically. One of the choice memories we have of that experience included some music which was set up to play in all the rooms at Turtle Bay Resort. Both Nick and I ended up getting teary over it, perhaps because we were headed to the Temple to do Uncle Freeman's work the afternoon we checked out. It took a bit of round-about research to find out what the music was, but about two weeks after we came back we located it and a source for it. I found out it was a piece called "Into the Twilight" from a CD titled "Fourth World" by R. Carlos Nakai. The whole CD is quite nice (your dad has been listening to it on his computer ever since last Tuesday), and you can listen to the piece by going to www.cduniverse.com if you're interested. Our North shore experience will always hold a special place in my spiritual memory.
